Site Engineer Full Time

Leading contractor seeks a Site Engineer for high-end Residential and Resort development projects within the Caribbean region.

Key Experience & Responsibilities:

• Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar equivalent)
• Between 5-7 years’ postgraduate experience in the field preferably from within a UK Tier 1 Contractor environment as a Site Engineer, or Section Engineer.
• Project experience on £5m – £30m+
• Strong RC experience is essential
• Strong experience in Setting Out – using Leica TS16 or Topcon.
• Good experience with laser and dumpy levels is important, as well as setting up and managing control points.
• QA/QC
• Experienced in setting out Slabs, Columns, and Ring Beams.
• Temporary Works

• Buried Service
• Concrete Testing experience
• Assist with the production of as-built drawings (AutoCAD)

• Competency with CAD and uploading setting out points to the total station from the CAD model.

• Interpretation of engineering designs and specifications
• Needs to be a leader – will manage and supervise small works crews when required
• Experience of working on water retaining structures will be highly advantageous, as will timber roof experience.
• Working towards Chartership would also be a bonus too.
