Senior Quantity Surveyor Full Time

Wymondham Associates are working with a long-term client who is seeking to bring in an experienced Quantity Surveyor from within the Main Contracting arena.

Leading contractor is seeking to strengthen its Commercial Team with the hire of an experienced Quantity Surveyor for involvement in a range of new build and refurbishment projects within the Luxury Hospitality, Commercial, Residential and Healthcare sectors. The initial project is a new build $25m+ Commercial / Industrial project.

As the Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the financial management of construction projects, where your duties will include (but not be limited to):

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated team player, who can work to schedules and have a flexible approach to their work. A strong background in working closely with Owners, Design Consultants, Subcontractors and Suppliers is a necessity.

Ideally, you will be RICS accredited, degree qualified within Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management and have at least 10 years’ experience on a wide range of projects including at least one project in excess of $20 million within a main contracting environment. Must have a stable career history, and working knowledge of AIA and/or FIDIC construction contracts will be highly advantageous. Must have excellent computer skills.

Previous island experience and single status travel preferred, but negotiable.
