MEP Services Manager Full Time

Wymondham Associates are working with a long-term client who is seeking to bring in an experienced MEP Manager from within the Main Contracting arena.

This leading contractor is seeking to strengthen its On-Site Delivery Team with the hire of an experienced MEP Manager for involvement in a large new build project. The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate at least 5 years in a similar position on large scale construction projects; will have worked on commercial and industrial new build and fit out works and should be able to point to significant experience on major construction projects of more than 25,000 sq. ft. / $20 million+.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Day-to-day management of the mechanical and electrical works on their construction projects.
• Management of junior staff and the supervision of subcontractors.
• Performance of projects against schedule and for quality control within the construction process.
• End-to-end management of commissioning of MEP equipment in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Will need to liaise with Owner on OFCI items and subcontractors in relation to building services.

The successful applicant will:

• Have formal qualifications in either mechanical or electrical disciplines
• Will have experience as a trade foreperson (preferably electrical or mechanical) or in the commissioning of MEP equipment.
• An engineering degree or professional designation and experience in IT infrastructure will be positively viewed.
• Island (or International) project delivery experience will be highly advantageous.

All successful applicants will be self-motivated individuals, will be good timekeepers and will have a flexible approach to work. They should have good communication and computer skills. A proven ability to work as part of a site-based project team, liaise with Owners, Design consultants, Subcontractors and Suppliers is a must.

The project is currently in preconstruction and will be looking to commence on site in February 2026, and the hiring process is commencing now in lieu of a work permit process.
