High End Construction Company is seeking to employee a knowledgeable, self-motivated individual for the position of MEP Coordinator/Manager.

Should be experienced in the following:

A minimum of 10yrs MEP management experience in the new build construction market.
Experience of working within a main contractor/general contractor environment.
Have experience running the MEP scope of work for projects more than US$100m.
At least 8yrs of experience within the North America market will be advantageous.
Solid knowledge and experience working to the North America codes for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical works.
HVAC systems, conventional & chilled water systems
Testing and balancing procedures
Water supply & drainage systems
Pool plumbing & drain systems
Pool & spa heating systems
High end decorative light fixture & controls installs and testing
High end plumbing fixtures & fitting installs and testing
Larger estate style electrical systems
Residential IT, security, surveillance systems and AV systems cabling needs
Residential gas systems
Residential appliance installs and commissioning
Back-up generator systems
Experience & knowledge with Solar systems would be an asset.

Job Responsibilities

Overseeing of multiple projects
Coordinating submittals and RFI’s relating to MEP
Organizing MEP drawings and specs.
Coordinating rough-ins thru to punch list of MEP with relevant subcontractors.
Scheduling MEP install and completion dates
Overseeing MEP installation, placement and layout
Scheduling and overseeing MEP inspections, testing and commissioning
Tracking MEP material, equipment, fixture and fittings shipments
Tracking and controlling inventory for MEP materials, equipment, fixtures etc.
Providing quality control of the final products and installing relating to MEP
Overseeing closeout document procedures i.e.: as-built drawings and warranty documents.
