We are working with a leading General Contractor based in The Bahamas, who is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic/Technician for their operations within the Islands.
My client operates within the Construction sector and they seek someone who is trained and fully conversant with Construction Plant and Equipment. The successful professional will be responsible for the supervision and welfare of the equipment operations of their fleet across the Bahamas, and have a direct, and hands-on approach to fixing and maintaining the plant and equipment.
Ideally you will have experience of operating in remote locations, and any experience of working within Caribbean region would be an advantage, but certainly not a necessity. My client is ideally seeking someone with at least 10 years of experience within heavy plant and equipment maintenance sector, and experience in CAT equipment, as well as CAT ET/SIS will be highly advantageous.
You will undertake (but not be limited to):
The maintenance and repair of heavy equipment both in the workshop and on site
The troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of plant equipment
The scheduled Maintenance and Prevention checks on all plant equipment
The procurement of parts and materials.
