Leading contractor is seeking to strengthen its Commercial Team with the hire of an experienced Quantity Surveyor for involvement in a range or projects within the Luxury Hospitality, Commercial, Residential and Healthcare sectors.

As the Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the financial management of construction projects, where your duties will include:

• Take-offs
• Pricing
• Negotiation and Drafting of Subcontracts
• Measurement of works in progress
• Preparation of monthly progress billings, and
• Cost control and reporting of project vs budget.

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated team player, who can work to schedules and have a flexible approach to their work. A strong background in working closely with Owners, Design Consultants, Subcontractors and Suppliers is a necessity.

Ideally, you will be RICS accredited, degree qualified within Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, and have at least 10 years experience on a wide range of projects including at least one project in excess of $20 million. Working knowledge of AIA and/or FIDIC construction contracts will be highly advantageous. Must have excellent computer skills.

Previous island experience and single status travel preferred, but negotiable.
